Walkie-Talkies
The aptly-named Walkie-Talkies get together through the summer months on Wednesday evenings for a walk, finishing with a shandy in the nearest hostelry where they put the world to rights.
In the winter months they walk in the mornings, finishing with a pub lunch.
They know the best pubs for miles around!

You can go youth hostelling at any age!
Once a year the Walkie-Talkies hire the Lingfield Marathon bus and go for a weekend of walking, staying overnight at a youth hostel. There is always plenty of exercise, good food, and giggling in the dorm!
A youth hostel breakfast is just one of the many great occasions on a Walkie-Talkie weekend!
Lingfield Fun Run 2010 - 6-mile walk
Maureen Young, Sue Dean, Carol Hunt, Shirley Hunt, Margaret Lewis, Margaret Watson, Dawn Downs, Anne van Vliet, Rob Rushton and Marlene Hughes took part.
They wore their new DEWI T-shirts for the first time, got soaked, and had a wonderful time as always.
